New York!!!

I spent a week in New York with my ladies (Nancy, Tannis, & Lauren) while Shawn stayed at home (tear). It was a blast. I have a new found love for old street lamps that line Central Park. New York was surprisingly cleaner then I expected. Well, Times Square was. I am sure if I ventured out into the ghetto I would find more rats, bums and such. New York did have its share of homeless, I just expected a plethora of them to be holding card board signs and spreading diseases. I saw some street corner celebrities too. Ethan Hawk, Molly Shannon and the Atlanta Hawks. New York was fast paced, crowded, and never boring. There is always something to do in the city and I don't think anyone sleeps. The taxi rides are like a roller coaster, constantly holding on for dear life. I especially loved the honking drivers. You drive too slow, HONK! You look like you are going to cross the street, HONK! You change lanes, HONK! You are attractive, HONK! You look familiar, HONK! You smell like beef, HONK! I am not joking, they honk at everything and at all hours. I love that in some parts of New York they have no honking and silent streets. I would live on that street for sure. All in all I definitely had an adventure and enjoyed all of the quirks of the city. The Big Apple was delicious and everyone should try a bite.

A new experience...

I am trying out this whole blog thing. I am horrible when it comes to keeping in contact with people so I figured this would help. Now I can give you an update our life and won't feel so bad. So I hope you enjoy!!!
